Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force

At first impression I thought "oh no not another rubbish Star Trek first person shooter" I couldn't however of been more wrong. In Elite Force you play as a member of the hazard team which was set up by Tuvok (voyagers security chief) to deal with yes you guessed it extreme situations. The game starts on a borg vessel and you have to go through certain objectives to progress, the borg AI is amazing just like the real thing they don't attack you unless you attack them until of course the voyager team find what they need and then the whole thing heats up, also when shooting at a borg drone you generally get 2-3 shots off before they adapt. Not only is the AI good in this game good so are the graphics they are breath takingly smooth and realistic too the show you actually feel as if you are on the borg cube or voyager not only are the graphics realistic so are the weapons you get to use the standard issue federation phaser rifle but the game also includes new alien weapons and new heavier federation weapons. The game has the original cast doing the voice acting (with the exception of seven) which again gives it a good Voyager feel. As I have briefly touched on this game has a excellent storyline and as you go through the game it feels like a double feature of voyager with tons to do and loads of enemies to blast this game should last you quite a while especially with the expansion pack coming out soon which will include 2 new campaigns and a tour of voyager mode which will allow you to explore the ship put it on self destruct etc (a feature which was sadly lacking from the original) this game should last you ages. Multiplayer is a good experience where you can play as many of the crewmembers of voyager or even the borg queen in quake 3 style action (Elite Force use the quake 3 engine) it allows you to frag human players or bots into oblivion. Elite Force in a good game nicely rounded with great graphics a good storyline and a realistic Star Trek feel which will last ages go and buy this game now!
